Dr. Seafha Ramos
Lab Founder and Director (Yurok/Karuk/Chicana)Some of her colleagues and students know her as “Dr. Seaf.” She currently serves as Assistant Professor of Indigenous Forestry at Northern Arizona University. Her expertise lies in the weaving of Indigenous and Western sciences in applied wildlife research and conservation. She utilizes Indigenous Research Methodologies and Traditional Ecological Knowledge through an Indigenous lens.
